CALINDA is a beautiful wine with intense tropical ripe fruit and white flower tones, so typical of the Verdejo grape. Idea as an aperitif or with tapas, fish or shellfish.

 

Area of Production

Denominación de Origen Rueda. Continental climate influenced by the Atlantic, with very long, cold winters, short springs with the risk of late frosts, hot dry summers that are only disturbed by occasional storms. The soil is very stony, alluvial, rich in calcium and magnesium with a very low content of organic materials and limestone on higher ground.

 

Grape Variety

100% Verdejo

 

Winemaking

The best grapes of Verdejo variety are carefully picked then vinified. Cold pellicular maceration in a pneumatic press for 6-8 hours followed by fermentation with selected yeasts at 14ºC.

 

Tasting Note 

Colour: Bright  pale yellow.

Aroma: Pronounced aroma of tropical ripe fruit and White flowers.

Taste: Lively, crisp with good fruit and balanced acidity.

 

Serving Suggestion 

Serve DNA Murviedro Signature between 6 and 8ºC as an aperitif or to accompany tapas, fish, seafood and rice dishes.
