Area of Production

The Denominación de Origen ProtegidaValencia is near the Mediterranean coast in the East of the country where the altitude varies between 250m and 1000m. The climate is warm with strong influences from the Mediterranean sea. For centuries grapes have been grown in the chalk clay soil which together with the constant presence of strong sunlight produces fruity wines with a good structure and smooth tannins.

Winemaking

Vinfied in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks at 16ºC, using selected yeasts in order to maintain the primary aromas of the grape variety.

 

Tasting Note

Colour: Straw yellow with pale green tones.

Aroma: Delicate and fruity with aromas typical of the Viura grape variety (pear, pineapple).

Taste: Light and fresh with a long finish.

 

Serving Suggestions

Serve DNA Classic Viura between 6 and 8ºC. Ideal with seafood, fish and light hors d’ouevres.
