The name of the trademark was not chosen by chance, it was during the reign of the Wallachian governor Basaraba 1 the Great (1310 - 1352) that viticulture and winemaking were actively developed on the territory between the Black Sea and the Danube, Prut, and Dniester rivers. ТМ BESARABIA is a new project of a group of enthusiastic professionals. It arose as a result of the search for the best vines and a unique combination of soil and climate in Ukraine. The team selected the best vineyards in different districts of the Odessa region (the historical name of Bessarabia). This made it possible to use the uniqueness of the area and the maximum disclosure of the grape variety in the wine. In particular, it was found that it is the grapes Merlot, Bastardo, Muscat, Traminer that perfectly reveal themselves in the Bolgradsky region (near the village of Kubey), Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Pinot Minier in the Ovidiopol district (near the village of Velikodolinske). Our team identified the best slopes and grape sites and got to work.
