Aecovi-Jerez, founded in 1989, is positioned on the market as a “second-level cooperative”, which includes four smaller cooperatives of the Marco de Jerez zone (the “triangle of sherry") - Catolico-Agrícola (Chipiona), Nuestra Señora de las Angustias (Jerez), Covisan (Sanlucar de Barrameda) and Union de Viticultores Chiclaneros (Chiclana). In total, under the auspices of the company there are about 1,200 small suppliers of grapes or 20% of all vineyards of the Sherry Triangle.
Aecovi wines have been produced since 2008 using exclusively traditional winemaking methods and certified raw materials. Some of the company's wines (Jerez-Xeres-Sherry, Manzanilla-Sanlucar de Barrameda) are classified DO, the rest of the wines are labeled Tierra de Cadiz.
