Jameson Irish Whiskey is the softest in the world, due to the innovative approach of company founder John Jameson. In contrast to the Scots who were never afraid to experiment in the production of whiskey, the Irish have always tried to follow the old traditions in the manufacturing process of the national drink.
Aged in American barrels, sherry barrels and optionally baked bourbon barrels, Jameson Black Barrel is a blend of a small batch of grain whiskey and traditional Irish pot still whiskey.
The rich and complex aromas of fruits, caramel, burnt wood, warming spices and sweet vanilla are enhanced by the additional roasting of the barrel, and triple distillation makes the aftertaste unusually soft.
