Camino Real Tequila in Ukraine
Camino Real is brand of tequila made by the Camino Real Tequila distillery. The brand and distillery are both currently controlled and operated by the Estonian spirits producer AS Liviko Company. The distillery, with its 70-year history in the art of making tequila, is located in the small city of Tequila, Jalisco State, Mexico. The two variants are: Camino Real Blanco with 35% ABV and Camino Real Gold with 40% ABV. The name ‘Camino Real’ translates to Royal Road in Spanish, also a King’s Highway, 600-mile trail connecting all the California missions from Baja California, Mexico to Mission San Francisco in northern California, US. The agaves used in making Camino Real tequila grow in fields at 2,000 metres above sea level, hence the name Camino i.e. “high” in Spanish.
