Syrups

Syrup is a concentrated sugar solution or a mixture of individual sugars (sucrose, glucose, fructose, maltose) in water or in natural juice (fruit, berry, herbal juice, etc.). The sugar content in syrup usually ranges from 40 to 80%. Syrup is also referred to as a concentrate of soft drinks.

Syrups are widely used for a variety of drinks, from cocktails to coffee. Also syrups can be used in the preparation of confectionery.
