Sauza
Sauza tequila (Mexico)
Sauza ranks second among the largest and most popular manufacturers of agave drinks. The beginning of this trademark was laid in 1858 by businessman Don Senobio Sauza. Having moved from Mexico City, Don seriously engaged in the production of tequila, as the market was poorly developed, and the drink was not exported to any of the countries. In 1873, he acquired the large La Antigua Cruz distillery, and the first batches of the drink were released 15 years later. This time period is due to the unhurried growth rate of agave, which matures to the desired condition from 8 to 12 years. After the first success, Sauza renamed the company “La Preservancia”. It is this name that is widely known both in Mexico and around the world. Thanks to Don South, the whole world got the opportunity to enjoy tequila, since it was he who first exported the first batch of the drink. The worldwide fame that had befallen the plant and the huge production volumes pushed the enterprise to expand: huge agave plantations were soon planted, and the company began to own as many as ten distilleries. Now Sauza grows agave in special greenhouses, which greatly simplifies the care of plants.
