Grand Marnier
Grand Marnier liqueurs
The idea of creating a delicious fruit liqueur "Cordon Rouge" was born in 1880, when Louis-Alexander Marnier-Lapostol decided to combine cognac with exotic oranges, which at that time were considered a delicious dish. To make liquor, he used several varieties of brandy from the most famous regions of France, such as Borderi, Gran and Petit Champagne, Bon Bois and Fin Bois, as well as the zest of bitter orange and secret ingredients of the Marnier family. This recipe, as well as the aging of liquor in oak barrels for 6 months, remains unchanged to this day.
Thanks to this, as well as the highest quality and sophistication, Cordon Rouge is today one of the most popular French liquors in the whole world and is delivered to more than one hundred and fifty countries. The prototype of the elegant shape and color of the bottle is the silhouette of a copper cube for distilling cognac, and a scarlet tape with a wax seal gives it an additional flavor.
