Local farmers regularly supplied their corn crops to Beam's water mill, so the decision was made to use the crop in the production of their own alcohol. As a result, the drink turned out to be so good that the demand among the locals began to grow rapidly. The Jim Beam secret has been passed down through the generations. And yet, bourbon was brought to the world arena by a representative of the fourth generation of the family - Jim Bergard Beam, who masterfully ran the business. It was he who managed to achieve worldwide recognition of the drink, which did not prevent the popularity of which even Prohibition adopted in the United States.
To this day, representatives of the Beam clan are directly involved in the production of the drink, the history of which goes back more than two centuries. Nowadays, the management of the enterprise is concentrated in the hands of Fred Noe, the great-grandson of Jim Beam.
