Starting in 1695, the founders of the company - Petrus de Kiper and Anna Custers, began to learn the art of creating alcohol, making and selling wooden barrels, which were then aged drinks made in the Netherlands. It was only in 1752 that Jan de Kiper began his active work in the alcohol market, buying the first factory producing gin, and after 17 years increasing the volume of production, updating production, and acquiring a huge factory in Rotterdam.

 

The active stage of the company’s development is already leaving in more real time, dating it to the second half of the 19th century, when the company's liqueurs began to enter the international market, conquering admirers in Denmark, and in 1870 - 85% of the products were exported to the UK and Canada. This large-scale trade allows you to restart the plant, and in 1911 begin a major breakthrough in distillation, which still works.

 

De Kuyper is a world-famous liquor producer; in 1995 he celebrated his 300th anniversary. It also produces ready-made cocktails, punches, syrups, gin, brandy and is the undisputed leader in the alcohol market. In 2003, De Kuyper liquors were awarded a gold medal at the UK Tasting Competition. This competition is the largest in the alcohol industry and has been regularly held since 1969. Today, De Kuyper is actively exporting its products to more than 100 countries.
