Iveria for everyone
Chacha is a strong alcoholic beverage that, like wine, is made from grapes. Making chachi is an art whose history goes back centuries.
Winemakers began to process oilcake (the remains after squeezing grapes - skins, pits, pulp), making it strong drinks.
To make chachi, sweet grapes or fruits are used. After squeezing the juice for wine, sugar is added to the remaining cake. Further, the cooked mass is fermented and fortified wine is obtained after squeezing.
