BRANDY

Brandy is a spirit produced by distilling wine. Brandy generally contains 35–60% alcohol by volume and is typically taken as an after-dinner drink. Some brandies are aged in wooden casks, some are coloured with caramel colouring to imitate the effect of aging, and some brandies are produced using a combination of both aging and colouring.

Most often, brandy is drunk after eating a digestif. It is recommended to slightly cool the drink before bottling, and after filling the glass, slightly warm it in the palm of your hand to increase the concentration of aroma. Thus, you will help the drink to open to the fullest. Brandy is also perfect for meat dishes, cigars and freshly ground coffee.
