Bitter in modern alcohol culture is commonly called a variety of different drinks with a strength of 6 to 50 degrees. They include some brands, as well as whole varieties of tinctures, liquors, vermouths and even beer. Among the representatives of this category of drinks, best known to Russian-speaking connoisseurs of good alcohol, it is worth mentioning Becherovka, Kampari, Riga black balsam, Jägermeister, Martini bitter, as well as pepper, zubovka, Streletskaya steppe, or Starcka that have proved themselves in the post-Soviet area.
