Becherovka
Becherovka is a heritage of Czech culture. The drink, which has become the hallmark of the country, has already taken root on the shelves of bar counters of the most diverse institutions around the planet, and has won the respect of not only admirers, but also bartenders.
The history of liquor begins in 1794, although the first bottle was sealed and sold only in 1807. It was at the end of the 18th century that the founder of the company, Joseph Becher, bought a distillery and began experiments in creating liquors. Then he could not think what success his family expects after a couple of hundred years.
Initially, Becherovka was bought as a medicinal tincture. The presence of 38% alcohol did not bother anyone, because the drink elegantly helped in the digestion processes, improving the general condition of a person. More recently, scientists have once again proven the medical relevance of liquor. In small doses, it can help with disorders of the nervous system, have a positive effect on metabolism, as well as other therapeutic diseases (self-medication can harm your health).
The formula for preparing a drink, of course, remains a secret, since scattering recipes on the national treasures of an entire country is a crime. Only two people on Earth know her. It is known that Becher liqueur contains about 20 herbs and their extracts, which together allow us to enjoy the perfect and original taste of this Czech masterpiece.
Liquor has no chemical constituents, and is 100% formed from ingredients of natural origin. During distillation, Karlovy Vary water and alcohol of the highest quality are used. Adding sugar helps to form a common bouquet, adding to it the sweets necessary for the gastronomic variety of the drink.
Now the famous Czech liquor is exported to Europe, Asia, North America and Australia. For the most part, it is used as the basis for cocktails, the most famous of which is Concrete. If you add tonic and lemon juice to Becherovka, you will get an excellent refreshing mix that you can easily drink all evening.
