International Wine Academy (IWA) invites you to visit a special educational project - "The ABC of Wine."
The educational project "The ABC of Wine" is a training that includes the study of a number of basic theses and an introduction to the basic rules of wine etiquette, backed up by tastings.
At the ABC of Wine, guests will be able to plunge into the wonderful world of winemaking, discover the expanses of vineyards in France, Georgia, feel the whole temperament of Spain, visit Italy with its variety and special wine-making approach ... Guests will have a unique opportunity to taste dozens of bright samples of wines from all over of the world.
Course Outline:
- Wine. General classification by quality, grades, types. Wine production.
- The production technology of dry, semi-dry, semi-sweet, fortified, dessert wines. The technology for the production of sparkling and champagne.
- Wine producing countries (France, Italy, Spain, Georgia, Armenia).
- Strong alcohol.
- Tasting - rules of conduct, theoretical and practical part.
- Wine storage rules.
- The rules of combination with dishes are the principles of enogastronomy.
- The "nose" of wine.
- Temperature and tableware serving wine.
- And much more.
Theoretical knowledge is supported by practical tasting of the best wines and spirits of France, Italy, Spain, Georgia, Armenia: amazing French wine Chateau Fompeyre, rich with tart aftertaste Camporroso, intense fruity Chianti and many others ...
The training takes place in the office of the International Wine Academy (IWA) at the address: 6A Larisa Rudenko St., Kiev.
The duration of the training is 3 hours.
The participation fee is 300 UAH. (tasting fund is included in the price).
